Coco Avant Chanel

I saw this movie yesterday and I give it a solid 2 thumbs up. Every fashionista should see this film about Coco’s early years. We are all familiar with the Coco that designed beautiful clothes, made smoking look chic and said famous one-liners (i.e. in order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different and a woman should be two things: classy and fabulous). But this movie gives us a look at the quirky young woman who became Coco. The seamstress and struggling saloon singer who dreamed of going to Paris. The young woman who decided early on that marriage wasn’t in her future. The woman who knew that the right man could help you in a tough spot. Not only was the movie visually stunning, I loved the score. Please support this movie today!
